We Are Looking For Writers!
The Daoist Online - A community-written newsletter for philosophy, religion, spiritual, and personal journeys.
Greetings!
My name is
and I’m the creator of ‘The Daoist Online.’The Daoist Online is a central location for philosophy, spirituality, faith and religion, stories about our personal journey, and more!
As children, we learn everyone is different, but that’s only half true because we are also the same. Everybody struggles and overcomes and everyone has a unique story to tell. The Daoist Online (TDO) is for everyone.
If you have ever suffered through heartache, struggle, or loss I want TDO to be where you find answers. A friend told me to celebrate the small victories in life, so I want this to be where we can all celebrate those victories together. A community where politics, race, religion, and faith doesn’t matter.
A safe haven where everybody listens, communicates thoroughly, and is interested in answers that don’t match theirs.
To all of you who have been with us since the beginning in 2022, thank you for sticking with us. For those of you who are new, welcome! But remember, this a community-written newsletter so we need your help to make TDO amazing!

How To Submit An Article?
This process MUST be followed for EVERY ARTICLE you want to submit!
You MUST have a Substack account
You MUST have published at least 1 article online (personal blog, Medium, Vocal, Ghost, Substack, etc.) that we can read for free. If we already published you, use that URL on the form.
What To Expect Afterwards?
There are two types of writers in a Substack publication.
Contributor - Writers who can submit an article for approval. Once approved, it will be published on a schedule. Everyone starts here.
Accepted Authors - Trusted and longtime writers who can publish without approval.
Contributor Process
Meet the requirements (above) and APPLY
Check the status of your application by finding your first/display name and date submitted HERE
Once accepted an editor will send an Invite Email through Substack to be added as a writer. YOU MUST ACCEPT THIS or we can’t add your name as the writer (aka the byline)
Once you accept the invite, an editor will send you a Google Doc link to create/paste your article.
If needed, the editor can edit, leave comments, or accept as is.
Editor will publish to Substack with your name as the only byline.
